Up to 14S, up to 20Amps - governed by a 550Watt maximum rating - that sums up the Hyperion EOS 1420i NET3
If you are into big electric crafts, be it fixed wing, boats or the rapidly growing 700e heli-class then the Hyperion EOS 1420i NET3 is definately for you.
A brand-new power supply technology is boosting the charging power to 550W when the input voltage is between 24V and 28V. Of course you can still operate the EOS 1420i NET3 on the typical 12V also but with less overall wattage.
Double punch
Splitting large lipo packs into more smaller packs have always been a Hyperion mantra. The Hyperion NET chargers have since 2008 been featuring a network-mode where two chargers could sync-charge two identical packs that were split during charging and assembled in series during flight. The EOS 1420i NET3 moves the bar upwards - you will dispose over 1100W in network mode with a capability of charging a 28S lipo split-pack. Big just got bigger.
How much is 550W?
It is an easy calculation - let's look at how far we will get with a 5000mAh 6S lipo pack: 6S @ 3.7V is 22.2V. Now divide 550W with 22.2V to find the Amps... = 24.77Amps. This actually exceeds the 20A limitation of EOS 1420i NET3 ensuring you the full 20Amps charging power. In other words you can charge a Hyperion G3 5000mAh 6S lipo pack at 4C - or around 15 minutes.
2 x 7S super precise 12bit balancers built in
The latest 12bit balancer circuits are built into the EOS 1420i NET3 and deeply integrated into the operation modes of the charger. These balancers are a vital safety measure that monitors the entire charging process from the time you connect the pack until your order is carried out.
The EOS 1420i NET3 is sporting all the features you have come to expect and rely on from Hyperion chargers; StoreMode, TCS-charging, lots of memory slots (actually an infinite number via the free software that allows you super-easy charger management), and all the information you could ever need.
Look at the price again
A 550W 14S charger at this price - and at this renowned quality - sounds like a calculation mistake. It is not - it is progression, innovation and dedication delivered to you by Hyperion!

New Hyperion EOS LBA10 Net - The Most Powerful, Versatile Balance-Safety Adapter for Lithium Packs - Max 6S, 10A rating - Network 2 units for 7S~12S balancing.
The Hyperion EOS Lithium Balance Adapter 10 (LBA10) is the newest, most feature-packed and reliable lithium balancer on the market today, and comes at a bargain price. Simply put, it is the most powerful, versatile, and safest way to charge your lithium packs today. A single LBA10 provides three ways to balance your lithium packs from 2S to 6S, at a maximum of up to 10-ampere rate!
Or, you can network two LBA 10 together with NET cable and adapter pack #HP-EOSLBA10-MSC. Set one LBA10 to Master and one to Slave mode. Series the LBA input leads together, and connect to a charger with appropriate S rating. Now you can charge two packs of same cell type and capacity (such as 6S and 6S) at the same time, and every cell in both packs will be balanced to the other when charging is done. Connect the packs in series and fly, with balanced packs from 7S to 12S in this way!
Or, say you have two 5S chargers, and want to charge two 5S packs to connect and fly as 10S. Use each LBA10 in Master mode, and connect each to a separate charger and battery. When charging is finished, Connect the two LBA10 together in Master-Slave configuration, and connect them to the just-charged lithium packs. The LBA10 will work together until every cell in the two packs are balanced together, then automatically shut down. Takes only a few minutes. Now series the packs together and fly in peace!
Each LBA 10 comes with balance harnesses for 2S and 3S packs. For 4S to 6S packs, get the appropriate optional harnesses from these part numbers:
HP-EOSLBA10-MC-H4S
HP-EOSLBA10-MC-H5S
HP-EOSLBA10-MC-H6S
You can also order the Hyperion Multi- Adapters
HP-LB10-HP-B
HP-LB10-XH-B
HP-LB10-TP-B
HP-LB10-EH-B
ATTN: The standard harnesses are work for the Hyperion, Etec and Polyquest packs.
For ALIGN packs, please use the XH type harness available in this category. Be aware that the standard LBA 10 harness will fit the ALIGN packs but is not the correct harness, only the XH type will work.
The LBA 10 also has a DataPort (use optional cable #HP-EOSLBA10-DPC) which will allow you to monitor the individual cell voltages while you balance, using the LCD screen of any HYPERION charger which has DataPort option. (DP Chargers available on about Oct1, 2006)
